GATE publishes a single official qualifying mark for XH-C1 Economics for each candidate category (General, OBC-NCL/EWS, SC/ST/PwD/third gender) after every cycle, based on that year's difficulty and the number of candidates -- it is not fixed year to year. Clearing the qualifying mark makes you eligible for a GATE score card; admission to a specific MS/PhD programme or a fellowship additionally depends on the accepting institute's own, separately published cutoff or interview shortlist. Always check the current cycle's official GATE qualifying marks and the accepting institute's admission notice rather than a past year's number.
